Limbo Tops Xbox Live Arcade Sales

Limbo has done it! Limbo, a dark video game that explores many elements of  horror has made it to the top. The top of the weekly sales that is. For the week of July 26, Limbo has conquered and squeezed his way to the top of the charts.

Now I have nothing against the game, after looking a bit on the web it seems like a really great buy. But I have a theory why it sold so much.

A few days ago we published a post here on GA called LimboBigPlanet which pretty much talked about how this guy made Sackboy from Little Big Planet go into the world of Limbo.

Well the video has already gotten tons of views on the internet and several gaming websites were buzzing about it. My theory is that with the recent popularity of LimboBigPlanet people wanted to buy and play Limbo. Hence the game being the top on the weekly charts.

Those are just my two cents.
