The Playstation Home is the place where PS3 gamers can meet up and chat, but turns out it does a little more than create a place for gamers to socialize. According to PlayStation Home director Jack Buser, Sony’s online virtual world has become a profitable part of the company’s PS3 empire. Particularly, PS Home purchable items like avatar clothing and other merchandise are becoming a way of life for many PS3 gamers.
