As most people may know the New York Comic Con begins this weekend. Most of us will just watch it over the Internet or on G4, but people who were lucky enough to attend will get a little surprise at Activision’s booth #1833. Silicon Knights has recently announced a new X-Men game titled 'X-Men Destiny' is in the works. Could this be the answer to X-Men fan's prayers, or just another failed attempt?
Many video games in the past based on the X-Men film have not been very successful, but this new game is an opportunity to change that. now of course its far to early to judge the game already since we still have no idea what the gameplay will be like or anything, but it's something to look forward to.
I'm guessing the game will be a follow up to Matthews Vaughn's upcoming X-Men First Class movie, but will hopefully include popular characters Cyclops, Jean Grey, Ice Man, Angel, etc. (unlike the actual film).
The games trailer (Below) gives me a sort of inFAMOUS vibe to it, or not. What we do know for a fact is the story is being written by Mark Carey who is best know for his work on X-Men: Legacy.
X-Men Legacy focuses on the choices mutants make that affects their lives. Maybe the game will be like inFAMOUS were you choice whether you want to be on a good path or evil path.
