Guitar Hero and DJ Hero Say Adios!

It is a sad day in video game history. There is a rumor going around that Activision might be stopping the Guitar Hero and DJ Hero franchises.

Since the economy is still pretty stinky at the time of writing this post Acitivsion is currently laying off a few employees that worked on these games. All this comes to no surprise, music games have been, iffy, lately.

Inception Video Game In The Works

Wii 2 Coming In 2011?!?!

Sorry to break it to you but there wont be any successor to the Wii, until as Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime puts it, they sell more systems. Reggie announced in a recent interview with Kotaku that until they sell $45 million copies of the Wii, a Wii 2 wont happen.

 Later on in the interview they asked if it will be announced in 2011 and Reggie responded saying:

Keeping Up With Cole McGrath And InFAMOUS 2

 

Those of you who are InFAMOUS fans, know what has happen to Cole McGrath. First we saw our all new Cole (With hair,new set of clothes, new weapons, etc.) on the cover and in the July issue of Gameinformer. Then we all heard the fans reactions to the all new Cole, including developer Sucker Punch.

So now Sucker Punch has created a new Cole design for InFAMOUS 2, which has our classic bald Cole in a slightly new set of clothes. Below is the new Cole design next to the original Cole-InFAMOUS 2 design.

Yes, the title character of Red Dead Redemption may be played by Brad Pitt. First off, I think that if this game is made into a movie it has sure potential. It already has a stable fan base, a great plot, and strong characters.

Final Fantasy XIV Xbox 360 Game Development Has Been Put On Hold

Development of Final Fantasy XIV to an Xbox 360 game has been put on temporary hiatus.

The producer, Hiromichi Tanaka, has stated that the game has been put on pause until they work out some issues with the Xbox Live policies. He also said that they're talking to Microsoft but do not know exactly when the game will continue with development.

Bioshock Infinite Interview

Last night BioShock Infinite, an expansion of the original popular game was officially announced. There is still little known about the game, but this exclusive interview might clear a few things up. Today Joystiq posted an interview they had with Kevin Levine, a designer of the game.

How Long Does It Take For The MW2 Demo To Become Available In Xbox Live?

To answer the question in the title, almost a year. A little more than 8 months at the time of writing this post to be exact.

I guess Infinity Ward had too much time on their hands to make a demo of their popular game. Maybe they thought that everyone had a copy by now.

So whoever hasn't played the game or has never heard of it. Go to the Xbox Live Store and download it. Trust me, its a good game.
